Perspective

I have been looking for a reason to blog using this picture because I thought it was brilliant! In speaking with a friend I got to talking about food and I thought I could create an analogy to explain my thoughts of this picture. As morbid as that is, I have a terrible case of the munchies and the nearest Panda Express is a few hundred miles over shark infested waters. I love their orange chicken but not that much. Anyway, I have been wanting to eat at places such as Panda, Papa John's, Chicago Stuffed Papa Murphy's Pizza, Tucanos, Bangkok Grill, Outback Steakhouse...just to name a few! My friend said that it is true I am craving the things for home but when I am home I will actually start craving the things that are available here in Grenada. I do enjoy a few places to eat here so I can see that happening. I know that for the past 10 years I have been craving a chicken donner kebab at the little kebab shop on Manchester Rd. in Stretford, England. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I ate there. I wonder if it still exists. Let this picture be a lesson to us all. Enjoy what we have to eat where we are now because when we are gone we will miss it.

Mate,

I still crave that place. I think I ate there once while serving in Manchester.

Good to see that you are doing well and that the BBC still influences people in the old empire :)

We have a blog too (theoglefamily.blogspot.com) We'll link your blog to ours.

When I was in Spokane, I totally craved JDawgs. Every time I came down, they were closed because I only came down on holidays and stuff. Now I crave this little diner called "The Milk Bottle" as seen in Benny and Joon. They had really really good milkshakes and really good fries.
So yeah, it's totally true.
