I finished my midterm exams and as the results came in I was swarmed with not bees but B's! I know I am lame and use goofy puns a lot. For example, Summer Summery? Come on Nick. Anyway, I got a B on each of my exams for Physiology, Immunology, and Neuroscience. I was a little intimidated by the Neurology exam because it was so difficult and they tested us a lot on details. I stuck to my guns and answered the questions the way I thought they should be answered and I did well. I have been trying to score A's and B's in medical school and for the most part I am doing that so I am very happy. I just want to be a competent and caring doctor when my time comes. I am sure with effort I will reach my goals. This whole experience of not just doing well in medical school but actually trying to get in has taught me that with grit and hard work just about anything can be accomplished. I will continue trying to improve my grades as I learn more and more about how our amazing bodies work.

Congrats Nick - glad you're doing well! Isaac has the next few months off (hooray!!) other than studying for step 2 which is in mid november, and working (actually getting paid!!!) doing pre-surgery health and physicals.
Yay Nick! Good job!
WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
let me be the 3rd to say... I'm proud of you Nick. Now I know where my determination genes went. I got stuck with the slacker day dreamer genes.
Did Isaac decide to do surgery or IM? Is he done with Year 4 now?
Thanks Colleen!
Nick other than Jim, I think we should change our last name to Barker. Because I always got B's in school too.
I'd say that's pretty dang good in med school!
Thanks everyone, I can't do it without you all pulling for me :) Brook, without all of you I would be Nick Farker!
ROFL! LORD FARQUAD!
