Summer SUMMERy

Get it? SUMMERy? Summary? Quite lame I know. Due to high demand I have decided to post another entry on my blog. Ok it really was just my friend Lala who has been hounding me but she speaks the truth. I should be updating my blog more often. I have throughly enjoyed being home so far. I have been home a month and have been to all sorts of movies and restaurants. I have shot many a firearm and I am going to my second rodeo of the summer this evening. I have enjoyed being with my family and my friends and have been recharging my batteries since med school sucked them dry this spring. I have been studying for the board exams as well as I wanted a head start on things. I am not the best test taker around. I have also enjoyed working at orangesoda.com again. I have missed my workmates. Through all the excitement I have reflected back on my first term of medical school. I have gained much confidence in knowing that I was able to do well in my courses despite difficult circumstances. I have learned what a beautiful place I live in and have come to appreciate it more. I am further convinced of how great and supportive my family is and how much I have depended on them for my success. Even just one semester of medical school under my belt has taught me more about not just science and the human body but about myself and my capabilities. I look forward to the rest of my summer and to my next term of med school. I have only one way to go....UP!
